About the Role
This Manager, Medical Affairs role is ideally suited for an experienced Medical Affairs or Medical Communications professional with strong scientific expertise, client-facing consultancy experience and confident management skills who enjoys developing people and facilitating personal growth.
Candidates must have an advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD or MSc) and be keen to work in the Toronto office with the team 3 days a week.
Everything you need to know about the role
As Manager, Medical Affairs you will contribute to high-quality scientific deliverables including medical education materials, training resources, publications, scientific platforms and congress materials.
Ensure scientific excellence across all deliverables
Manage and mentor a small team of 3-4 medical writers and analysts
Support and lead client engagements, providing scientific input and guidance
Build trusted client relationships by proactively addressing their needs and supporting strategic objectives
Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit
An advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD, MSc or MD)
4+ years of experience in medical communications or medical affairs
Experience managing projects and people in a fast-paced environment
Strong scientific acumen and commitment to quality
Client-focused with a collaborative mindset and stakeholder management skills
