Location: Purley (CR8 – South Croydon/Surrey border)
Salary: £37,000 – £45,000 (DOE)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm core hours

We’re working with a well-established children’s residential care provider to recruit a Deputy Manager for a small, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ home (with ‘Outstanding’ for Leadership & Management) supporting up to four children.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable, high-performing service and play a key role in maintaining and further developing the quality of care provided.

As Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance are consistently met.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the leadership and development of the staff team
• Ensuring safeguarding practices are embedded across the service
• Assisting with care planning, risk assessments, and reviews
• Leading shifts and deputising in the absence of the Registered Manager
• Supporting Ofsted compliance and contributing to inspections
• Promoting a positive, stable, and nurturing environment for young people

We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Experience within children’s residential care
• Previous senior or supervisory experience (Deputy or Senior level)
• Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
• A passion for delivering high-quality, child-centred care
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
