Our client is a Global IT Systems Integrator who requires PMO resources to be based from their customer site in London and require NPPV.

LOCATION: LONDON
PMO Governance/Assurance Lead for a major programme team. This role is responsible for owning and driving the governance, assurance, and Stage‑Gate framework across a complex BPO contract environment.
They will act as the programme's authority for delivery governance ensuring that all workstreams meet the required standards for quality, evidence, compliance, and contractual acceptance. This is a key position and a critical enabler of programme success.
Role Description
Governance Leadership
* Own and manage the programme's governance framework, ensuring consistent application across all workstreams.
* Maintain governance standards, templates, controls, and compliance processes.
* Drive continuous improvement of delivery governance and PMO practices.
Stage‑Gate & Assurance Control
* Lead Stage‑Gate reviews, ensuring deliverable readiness, evidence quality, and compliance with contractual obligations.
* Coordinate Gate Review sessions, prepare approval materials, and track resulting actions and decisions.
* Ensure all deliverables meet internal quality expectations and client requirements before submission.
Deliverable & Acceptance Management
* Oversee the programme deliverables register and ensure clear tracking, dependencies, and completion evidence.
* Validate deliverables against acceptance criteria and ensure full auditability for client assurance.
* Manage the end‑to‑end process for deliverable quality control and acceptance sign‑off.
Contract Governance in a BPO Setting
* Embed BPO contract requirements including SLAs, KPIs, transition milestones, transformation commitments, and service acceptance into governance processes.
* Work closely with commercial, legal, operational readiness, and client‑side PMO teams to ensure compliance with all contractual commitments.
* Safeguard alignment between delivery outputs and commercial obligations tied to payment milestones.
Assurance & Quality Oversight
* Lead independent assurance reviews, compliance checks, and quality audits.
* Identify gaps, risks, or deviations from governance standards and drive corrective actions.
* Provide authoritative oversight of RAID processes and programme controls.
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
* Produce high‑quality governance and assurance reporting for senior leadership and client stakeholders.
* Provide clear, credible guidance on delivery integrity, readiness, and compliance status.
* Act as the programme's senior escalation point for governance-related issues.
Team Leadership
* Foster a culture of discipline, quality, and accountability within the PMO.
About You
Essential Experience
* Significant experience in a PMO governance or assurance leadership role
* Prior experience working within a BPO contract environment transition, transformation, or multi‑tower outsourcing
* Strong understanding of SLAs, KPIs, payment‑linked milestones, service acceptance, and contractual dependencies
* Proven ability to manage Stage‑Gate processes in major programmes
* Experience with programme controls, RAID management, and compliance frameworks
* Excellent stakeholder management, including client‑side PMO and senior executives
Skills & Attributes

* Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
* Strong problem‑solver with a quality‑first mindset
* Comfortable operating in complex, fast‑moving programme environments
Preferred Qualifications
* PMQ, MSP, PRINCE2, P3O, or PMP credentials
* Experience in large‑scale outsourcing, government, or regulated industries
