Senior GLP Project Manager

<p class="MsoNormal">My client is rapidly expanding and seeks a <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Project Manager</strong> to make a significant impact.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">This person will ensure that client milestones are achieved and identify and implement an updated project management system to account for the accelerated growth.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="line-height: 115%;font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif">Responsibilities:</span></strong></p> <div><span style="line-height: 115%;font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif">· Collaborate with internal team to initiate project plans and schedules for new projects and allocate resources.</span></div> <div><span style="line-height: 115%;font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif">· Track and report milestones and deliverables and meet the clients’ needs through project completion and closeout.</span></div> <div><span style="line-height: 115%;font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif">· Identify project issues and proactively implement plans to resolve issues and mitigate project impact.</span></div> <div><span style="line-height: 115%;font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif">· Perform quality reviews of project deliverables for compliance to established practices and standards.</span></div> <div><span style="line-height: 115%;font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif">· Establish and communicate daily schedule for staff performing bench testing and testing support activities such as initial data analysis, peer review of data, reagent inventory management and lab maintenance.</span></div> <div><span style="line-height: 115%;font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif">· Educate and direct team in project management and scheduling methods, standards and tools.</span></div> <div><span style="line-height: 115%;font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif">· Identify areas of process improvement with aim of more effectively utilizing resources to consistently deliver projects on time.</span></div> <div><span style="line-height: 115%;font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif">· Adhere to GLP and GCLP guidelines.</span></div> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="line-height: 115%;font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif">Qualifications:</span></strong></p> <div><span style="line-height: 115%;font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif">· BS/MS degree and <strong>5+ years of experience directly handling management of projects</strong> in a CRO or other regulated environment.</span></div> <div><span style="line-height: 115%;font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif">· Project management certification or equivalent work experience required.</span></div> <div><span style="line-height: 115%;font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif"><strong>· Experience with GLP and/or GCLP is required.</strong></span></div> <div><span style="line-height: 115%;font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif">· Proficiency in MS Office Suite and MS Project experience desired.</span></div> <div><span style="line-height: 115%;font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif">· Logical problem solving and demonstrated ability to organize and move project tasks forward in an orderly and structured fashion.</span></div> <div><span style="line-height: 115%;font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif">· Supervisory experience is preferred.</span></div> <div><span style="line-height: 115%;font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif">· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills.</span></div>
