About the role: Justteachers is seeking a dedicated English Teacher with SEND responsibilities to join a supportive school in the Halifax area on a long-term basis. This full-time role is due to commence in September , with shortlisting currently underway. The school provides an inclusive and nurturing learning environment, with a strong focus on supporting pupils with additional needs and enabling all learners to access the curriculum and achieve their potential. Key Responsibilities: Planning and delivering engaging English lessons adapted to meet a range of SEND needs Supporting pupils’ literacy development through differentiated teaching and targeted interventions Working closely with the SENDCO, teaching assistants, and wider support teams to promote pupil progress Pre-requisites: Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) Experience teaching English and supporting pupils with SEND A strong understanding of differentiation, inclusive practice, and adaptive teaching strategies Two education or school‑based references
