About the Role
We are looking for an Field Service Engineer to our EOSS team. Based in Latin America (Brazil, Mexico or Argentina) you'll be responsible to ensure safe, efficient, and plan‑compliant technical execution of field projects. While Acting as the local technical authority and primary interface with the customer in complex and remote environments. You will be responsible for: Installation & Commissioning Ensure compliance with site Health & Safety standards and requirements. Review construction plans, OTDR traces, and system diagnostic to support project execution and client deliverables. Configure and calibrate DITEST, DAS, RDTS, PD and Shield Currents commissioning. Integrate systems with EOSS monitoring systems (PRYCAM and COBRA/LYNX platforms). Create and implement RTTR and DOB models, including signal input mapping and SCADA integration. Support SCADA integration and SAT testing, ensuring seamless communication between monitoring systems and client infrastructure. Onsite commissioning and validation (SAT) of EOSS monitoring systems and associated tasks, including preparation, and reporting. Training of end user and service partners. Perform post-commissioning tasks including RTTR fine-tuning, DOB model implementation, DAS Smart Alarm setup, and system validation. Reporting Draft and deliver commissioning reports, follow-up documentation, and intervention summaries. Maintain accurate records of system configurations, updates, and troubleshooting actions. Support the creation and update of instructions and procedures for commissioning and post-commissioning activities. Client Interface & Technical Meetings Act as the technical point of contact during commissioning and post-commissioning phases, representing the company in client meetings and workshops. Collaborate with clients to validate system performance and resolve technical issues. Provide training and support to client teams on system operation and maintenance. Who are we looking for? Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical or related areas Master’s degree in engineering Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical or related specialization Native in Spanish or Portuguese, Fluency in English and Portuguese/Spanish Proven experiencie on similar positions (3 years) Availability for extensive worldwide travel. Excellent communication skills with clients, partners, and internal teams. Strong customer-oriented mindset and professional behavior in field activities. Proactive problem-solving attitude and strong troubleshooting capabilities. Flexibility and adaptability to different cultures, environments, and operational conditions.
