Job Description

As the Senior Accountant (French Speaking) based in Kingsbury NW9, you will be responsible forKey Responsibilities

• Manage French general accounting and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data
• Prepare and reconcile VAT returns
• Calculate corporate tax (IS), CVAE, and monitor tax compliance
• Manage and account for fixed assets
• Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure correct group mapping
• Process accounting transactions and supplier invoices:
  • Receive, verify, and record supplier invoices in Yooz
  • Code invoices in line with the company's accounting framework
• Manage payments:
  • Monitor validation workflows in Yooz
  • Prepare and execute supplier payments
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers
• Perform bank postings and reconciliations
• Monitor accounts:
  • Create and manage auxiliary accounts
  • Reconcile supplier ledgers
  • Prepare monthly account statements
  • Ensure consistency between sub-ledgers and general ledger
• Expense management:
  • Administer and monitor the Expensya system
  • Control and track reimbursements
• Prepare monthly, semi-annual, and annual closings (cut-off: accruals, prepayments, provisions, etc.)
• Contribute to internal and external audits
• Ensure internal control and compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with tax and legal regulations
• Participate in company and group cross-functional projects related to systems and process improvements
• Reporting through Tagetik
• Monitor intercompany operations

The Successful Applicant

• This role involves travel to France once a month for the first 5 months
• French Speaker
• Experienced Accountant, with broad accounting skills
• Qualified Accountant, CIMA, ACCA, ACA
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Willingness to optimize processes and working environment
• Strong Excel and Systems skills
