As we continue to grow our operations in Clackamas, Oregon, we are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our team. What You'll Do:

Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T requirements to ensure parts meet quality standards.

Select and install tooling, fixtures, and work-holding devices required for production.

Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.

Monitor machine performance and make offsets and adjustments to maintain part quality.

Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements when needed.

Maintain accurate production records and documentation.

Work closely with programmers, inspectors, and supervisors to meet production schedules.

Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

What You Need to Have:

Experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines in a manufacturing environment.
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
-
Understanding of GD&T principles and precision machining practices.
-
Experience using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and indicators.
-
Knowledge of tooling selection, feeds, speeds, and milling processes.
-
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
-
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
-
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
The Musts:

Previous CNC Mill setup and operation experience.
-
Ability to perform in-process inspections and maintain quality standards.
-
Strong blueprint reading skills.
-
Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
-
Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
-
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
-
Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
Preferred:
-
Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
-
Prior experience machining tight-tolerance aerospace, industrial, or production components.
-
Basic understanding of G & M code.
-
Experience with Fanuc, Haas, or similar CNC controls.
-
Familiarity with fixture setup and optimization for efficient production.
