Geography Teacher - Bradford (September 2026)

About the role

Justteachers are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the Bradford area. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and foster a love for geography across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5 depending on experience).

The successful candidate will join a committed humanities department and contribute to delivering high-quality teaching and learning, supporting students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student progress
• Assess, monitor, and report on student performance and development
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
• Maintain strong classroom management in line with school policies
• Participate in parents’ evenings, staff meetings, and whole-school initiatives

 

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A degree in Geography or a related subject
• Experience teaching Geography at secondary level (KS3/KS4 essential)
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
