A 4 - Risk Management Specialist - INTERMEDIATE (795931)
Shift Time: To be determined with supervisor.
Work location Pittsburgh PA By April, all ODP staff will be on a hybrid Western Region ODP and requires the candidate to work from the downtown Pittsburgh office 2 days per week, with 3 days telework. telework schedule - 2 days in office with 3 days telework. Intermediate Level - The resource is able to successfully complete tasks as requested. Help from an expert may be required from time to time, but the resource can usually perform the skill independently.
Minimum Qualifications:
ò BachelorÆs degree in Human Services or Business, or ten (10) years of experience in a related field.
ò Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Incident Management/Risk Management, with preferred experience in quantitative analysis and reporting.
ò Knowledge and experience in the following areas:
ò Risk identification and management at both individual and systemic levels
ò Basic statistics and statistical analysis
ò Basic epidemiology
ò Data visualization (charting/graphing)
ò Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and statistical software
Role Description:
This position is responsible for supporting and managing risk and incident management activities across regional and county levels.
Key Responsibilities:
ò Participate in and/or facilitate:
ò Regional Risk Management meetings
ò Regional AD/county risk management meetings
ò Regional Quality Council and other assigned meetings
ò Utilize Excel, statistical software, Word, Access, and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting
ò Prepare Risk Management (RM) and Quality Management (QM) reports for committee and forum review
ò Complete meeting minutes for assigned committees and forums
ò Review County Incident Management (IM) Analysis reports
ò Draft Regional IM Analysis reports
ò Approve and close Incident Management reports
ò Conduct Certified Investigation Peer Reviews
ò Manage demographic deletions, clearances, and COMPASS entries
ò Perform Certified Investigations of critical incidents
ò Conduct training sessions, including:
ò Data warehouse training
ò ECM training
ò Risk and Incident Management training
ò Manage HCSIS data, including incident closures, deletions, and Certified Investigations
ò Provide technical assistance for the HCSIS Incident Management subsystem
