We are looking to recruit for a passionate Recovery College and Co-Production Lead at Cygnet Hospital Woking and Cygnet Woking Lodge Cygnet was established in 1988 as an independent provider of health and social care services in England, Scotland and Wales. Summary of the site Cygnet Woking/ Woking Lodge is a 93 bedded hospital with a variety of different wards, including two locked high dependency rehabilitation wards (male), two low secure services (male and female), three acute wards (male and two female), and a PICU (female). Our environment has a holistic focus and includes a gym, ADL kitchen, Recovery College, Hair Salon, library, Tuckshop and other therapeutic spaces As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with Senior Management, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Psychiatry, Nurses, mental health support workers and ward admin staff. The successful candidate will deliver the Recovery College Model to support peoples recovery using learning, skills development and co-production to provide innovative education opportunities. They will empower individuals in our care to achieve their personal learning goals and build confidence and skills through education and co-production. There are a wide range of accredited courses people in our care can be supported to co-produce, co-facilitate and achieve. Courses should be recovery focused and aim to instil a sense of hope for the future. We rely on service users as experts by experience to help create courses together that add to and build on their recovery journey.
