Warehouse Operative

<p>Cogent Staffing are recruiting for Warehouse Operative/Pickers for our established client in Leeds LS12.</p> <p>This is a temporary to permanent role, with successful candidates taken on as a permanent member of staff after a period of 12 qualifying weeks.</p> <p>YOU MUST BE COMPETENT USING COMPUTERS FOR THIS ROLE, THE BULK OF THIS ROLE IS PROCESSING RETURNS USING COMPUTERS.</p> <p>Shifts &amp; salary:</p> <ul> <li>Monday to Friday 08:30-17:30</li> <li>£12.71 per hour</li> <li>Temporary ongoing contract</li> <li>Weekly pay</li> <li>Immediate start for the right applicant</li> </ul> <p>The role:</p> <ul> <li>Receive, check, and process incoming goods.</li> <li>Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse.</li> <li>Prepare and package goods for dispatch.</li> <li>Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet trucks.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.</li> <li>Perform regular stock checks and assist with inventory management.</li> <li>Collaborate with team members to meet targets and deadlines.</li> <li>Process returns on computer.</li> <li>Minimal delivery driving on planned routes 10-12 drops per run.</li> </ul> <p>The candidate:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in a warehouse or goods handling role preferred.</li> <li>Valid forklift license is an advantage.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li> <li>Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items.</li> </ul> <p>Immediate starts available.</p> <p>At Cogent Staffing, we are committed to ethical recruitment practices and fostering an inclusive workplace.
