Since 2022, we’ve welcomed nearly 25 graduates into the business. Several leaders and managers in the business started as graduates. Many of our graduates go on to secure full-time employment with us following the programme. Some of our most frequently asked questions What is the Growing Greatness programme?   At Great Places, we pride ourselves on being a great provider of excellent opportunities for those looking to progress in a career pathway of their choice. Our Growing Greatness programme forms part of our learning and development offer and is our entry-level programme, largely aimed at apprentices and graduates to support them as they start out in their careers. Take a look…   How long is the programme for graduates? Graduates who join Growing Greatness will do so on a two-year training scheme working alongside industry professionals, which helps support their long-term career goals. All roles are offered on a full-time basis. Will graduates receive a qualification through the programme? As well as offering valuable on-the-job training and experience, we support our graduates to achieve accredited qualifications, whether this be via an apprenticeship route or relevant qualification. Will I be supported during my graduate programme? Yes! Graduates will be supported by their line manager and mentors plus we have a designated colleague in our People Development Team who will be on hand to help you when you need it. What are the requirements to apply? Graduates interested in applying need to have achieved at least a 2:2 at degree level within the last 3 years. Some roles may specify a particular degree. Can I apply before I know my degree results? Yes, but your role will be on condition that you achieve at least a 2:2 grade in your degree. Where are our graduate opportunities based? We have apprentices working across Greater Manchester, Lancashire, and South Yorkshire. When do we recruit graduates? Usually, our graduate roles open for application in the late spring/summer, and successful candidates will then start with us in September.
