Office Manager / HR Assistant (Outpatient Pharmacy) — Contract-to-Hire
Location: Flint, MI (on-site)
Schedule: Flexible; averages 30–40 hours/week
Pay: $45,000–$50,000/year (based on experience)
Summary
Hiring an Office Manager / HR Assistant for a busy outpatient pharmacy operation. This contract-to-hire role supports daily office operations while also owning key HR administration, compliance/credentialing coordination, and accounts payable. Ideal for an organized, detail-driven office manager who can handle sensitive employee matters, stay audit-ready, and keep processes moving across multiple priorities.
What You’ll Do
- Run day-to-day office management and provide executive/administrative support
- Coordinate HR administration: hiring support, onboarding, employee relations, engagement, and policy updates
- Support payroll processing and employee record maintenance
- Manage accounts payable: invoices, vendor follow-up, and aging reports
- Maintain QuickBooks entries and assist with basic financial reporting
- Coordinate compliance & credentialing (including re-credentialing) and maintain accurate documentation
- Support PBM audit readiness and documentation tracking
- Assist with Board of Pharmacy requirements and compliance documentation
- Support store operations and handle special projects as needed (including occasional marketing support)
What We’re Looking For
- Recent experience as an Office Manager, HR Assistant, Administrative Manager, or Operations Coordinator
- Strong accounts payable experience; comfort working with invoices and vendor communication
- Hands-on QuickBooks experience preferred
- Exposure to payroll support and HR processes (hiring, onboarding, employee relations)
- High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, medical office, or regulated environment strongly preferred
- Comfortable supporting compliance documentation and audit-related requests
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
