5G/LTE Drive Test Engineer – Central U.S. Wireless Field Project

📍 Central U.S. Deployment (Choose 2–3 Preferred States)

TOPTAL SYSTEMS is hiring Field Drive Test Engineers for wireless network performance projects across the Central United States region.

Candidates may select 2 to 3 preferred states based on comfort and availability for deployment.

📍 Deployment Locations (Central Region)

Projects are currently active across:

• Colorado
• Wyoming
• Nebraska
• Kansas
• Missouri
• Iowa
• South Dakota
• North Dakota
• Minnesota
• Wisconsin
• Oklahoma
• Illinois (selected zones)

Candidates will be assigned routes within their chosen states.

Role Overview

This role involves real-world mobile network testing to evaluate coverage, performance, and customer experience across 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G networks.

Engineers will conduct drive tests, collect KPIs, analyze performance logs, and support RF optimization teams in improving network quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform drive testing using TEMS Paragon or similar tools
• Collect KPIs including RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, throughput, and call performance
• Execute test cases across 2G / 3G / LTE / 5G
• Analyze drive logs and identify coverage gaps or interference
• Coordinate with RF teams for troubleshooting and optimization

Required Skills

• Experience in LTE / 5G wireless field testing
• Knowledge of RF fundamentals and KPI analysis
• Experience with drive test or post-processing tools
• Ability to travel locally within selected state
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities

• Intel i7 (10th Gen or higher preferred)
• Minimum 32GB RAM
• 500GB SSD
• Dedicated graphics card (NVIDIA/ATI)
• Windows 11 Pro

Vehicle

• Non-electric SUV or full-size pickup
• Ability to mount magnetic roof antennas
• Stable power configuration (AC/DC outlets

Connectivity

• Ability to provision multi-carrier SIMs with unlimited 5G data (project reimbursable)
