<h2><span><strong>Talent Acquisition Specialist (Gamedev)</strong></span></h2><p><strong>HR / Recruitment · Europe · Remote ·</strong></p><h3><span><strong>Position Overview</strong></span></h3><p>We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist with hands-on experience in the games industry to support our growing team.</p><p>This is not a traditional HR role. We are looking for someone who understands how gamedev works, knows where to find the right people, and can actively build a strong candidate pipeline.</p><p>This role is ideal for someone who enjoys actively searching for talent, not just managing incoming applications.</p><p>You will work closely with our founders and art leads to identify, approach, and evaluate candidates across art and technical roles. The role is freelance / part-time, with flexibility depending on hiring needs.</p><hr><h3><span><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></h3><p><strong>Proactive Sourcing & Headhunting</strong></p><ul><li><p>Actively search for candidates across platforms like LinkedIn, ArtStation, and industry communities</p></li><li><p>Reach out and engage with potential candidates directly</p></li><li><p>Build and maintain a high-quality talent pipeline for current and future roles</p></li></ul><p><strong>Recruitment Process Management</strong></p><ul><li><p>Manage candidates through our ATS (Teamtailor)</p></li><li><p>Review applications, portfolios, and profiles with an understanding of gamedev roles</p></li><li><p>Maintain clear and structured candidate communication</p></li></ul><p><strong>Screening & Interviews</strong></p><ul><li><p>Conduct initial screening calls in English</p></li><li><p>Evaluate candidates not only on skills, but also on mindset and communication</p></li><li><p>Assess cultural fit and readiness to work in a client-facing, remote environment</p></li></ul><p><strong>Collaboration</strong></p><ul><li><p>Work closely with founders and team leads to understand hiring needs</p></li><li><p>Align on candidate profiles, expectations, and hiring priorities</p></li><li><p>Continuously refine recruitment approach based on feedback</p></li></ul><hr><h3><span><strong>Requirements</strong></span></h3><p><strong>Experience</strong></p><ul><li><p>Proven experience in recruitment within the games industry</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of gamedev roles (especially art and technical positions)</p></li><li><p>Experience with proactive sourcing / headhunting</p></li></ul><p><strong>Tools & Process</strong></p><ul><li><p>Experience working with ATS systems (Teamtailor is a strong plus)</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage multiple candidates and roles in parallel</p></li></ul><p><strong>Communication</strong></p><ul><li><p>Excellent spoken and written English</p></li><li><p>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with candidates</p></li></ul><p><strong>Mindset</strong></p><ul><li><p>Proactive, independent, and well-organized</p></li><li><p>Good intuition when it comes to people and team fit</p></li><li><p>Comfortable working in a remote, fast-moving environment</p></li></ul><hr><h3><span><strong>Nice to Have</strong></span></h3><ul><li><p>Experience recruiting for outsourcing / co-development studios</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with art portfolios and basic quality assessment</p></li><li><p>Existing network within gamedev</p></li></ul><hr><h3><span><strong>What We Offer</strong></span></h3><ul><li><p>Direct impact on building a high-quality team</p></li><li><p>Work with experienced founders and international clients</p></li><li><p>Fully remote setup</p></li><li><p>Opportunity to shape recruitment processes and hiring strategy</p></li></ul>
