Service Technician

Direct Hire Opportunity! 

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Pay: $35.00-$40.00/HR

Duties: 

• Provide technical assistance and resolve electrical issues before, during, and after manufacture

• Assemble electrical/electronic systems and prototypes based on engineering data

• Install and maintain control systems to ensure smooth operations

• Modify prototypes and assemblies to correct functional deviations

• Operate test equipment to evaluate performance under simulated conditions

• Commission, start-up, repair, and refurbish complex equipment in customer plants

• Train customer personnel on proper equipment operation

• Collaborate with engineers to analyze and resolve problems

• Maintain troubleshooting records and produce clear technical reports

• Modify and maintain PLC/HMI programs

• Perform remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques

Qualifications: 

• Strong computer & electronics knowledge (processors, hardware, software, applications, programming)

• Programming expertise: Allen Bradley PLC, HMI/Rockwell, Servo programming, blueprint reading

• Willingness to travel 20–60% (company truck provided)

• Solid mechanical knowledge of machines, tools, repair, and maintenance

• Mathematical skills: arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics

• High level of professionalism: calm under pressure, respectful, reliable

• Detail-oriented: ensure accuracy and completeness

• Customer-focused self-starter with ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
