Position Summary
These positions support programs designed to support non-collegiate educational programs for which teachers are needed including Fisher Early Learning Center and the Ricks Center for Gifted Children. Positions can include:
Teaching assistants
Substitute teachers
Early Childhood teachers
Pre K - 8 teachers
These are non-benefited, part-time positions not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.
Essential Functions
Develop curriculum.
Teach curriculum.
Support teaching endeavors related to area of specificity.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent communication skills to include verbal and written communication.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
Ability to maintain all required certifications and licensures as they pertain to the role.
Skills associated with early childhood learning, K-12 certified professionals and some post-secondary education.
Required Qualifications
Professional training or education related to area of teaching specificity.
Experience teaching at level of specificity.
