Class 1 Driver – Days

Our drivers are one of the most important roles within EV Cargo, and we are seeking an experienced Class 1 driver to join our team and help us transport goods across the country during the day. Closing Date: March 31st 2026 Job Title: Class 1 Driver – Days Location: Burton-upon-Trent, DE14 2SY Employment Type: Full Time Salary: Yearly £35100 + £50 Weekly Bonus & Overtime Closing Date: 31/03/2026 ROLE RESPONSIBILITES:  Various HGV driving duties, including daily checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use, complying with vehicle security and standing procedures at all times. Manage the hand held terminals and be able to record accurate information. Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and returned to the Transport Office. Report any delivery issues in a timely manner to the Transport Office. Provide a professional driving service, meeting and exceeding customer expectations Ensure health and safety standards are adhered at all times Able to work weekends.
