SEN Teaching Assistant – Market Harborough

About the role:

We are seeking a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs within a supportive primary school setting on a long term supply basis starting in September.

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.

 

 

• Assisting children with Autism, ADHD and other additional needs.

 

 

• Adapting learning materials where appropriate.

 

 

• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.

 

 

• Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teachers.

 

 

• Supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom.

 

Pre-requisites:

 

• Previous SEN experience preferred.

 

 

• Understanding of safeguarding procedures.

 

 

• Excellent communication skills.

 

 

• Patient and empathetic nature.
