About the Role
Join our client's in-house agency team as they update their spatial storytelling. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the design and art direction for workplace design refresh across workplace locations in the US, South America, and Europe!
Responsibilities:
Transform Physical Spaces: Lead the conceptual development and execution of spatially integrated brand experiences, including environmental graphics, signage, and wayfinding.
Modernize Global Facilities: Drive the strategy for "refresh" projects, replacing legacy materials with modern designs that align with the company's current brand evolution.
End-to-End Design Management: Oversee the complete design lifecycle-from initial sketch and architectural consultation to managing fabrication and final on-site installation.
Stakeholder Consultation: Partner with architects and internal business leaders to envision creative designs that meet functional and aesthetic needs.
Lead & Mentor: Provide objective feedback and art direction to junior designers and copywriters, ensuring world-class execution across the broader creative team.
Strategic Collaboration: Work alongside Strategy and Project Management teams to ensure every design translates business goals into measurable results.
Qualifications:
Experiential Expertise: A strong background in trade show, environmental, or spatial design is highly preferred.
Collaborative Mindset: The ability to work constructively with diverse groups, from external vendors and fabricators to internal executive leadership.
Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign for layouts, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
Effective Communication: The confidence to lead high-stakes creative pitches and influence decision-making through compelling storytelling.
Vendor Management: Experience managing the business relationship with external contractors, printers, and installers to ensure quality control.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in the construction, heavy equipment, or industrial sectors is a significant advantage.
Years of Experience: Minimum of three years as an Art Director or Senior Designer with a demonstrated history of supporting ideation and creative operations/management.
