Senior Engineer, Operations Readiness and Assurance Closing Date 15 April, 2026 Country Job Based In UAE Location UAE - Abu Dhabi Job Family Engineering Type of Contract Fixed Term Contract Full/Part time Full Time Region (current) Middle East Ref No 15324 Senior Engineer, Operations Readiness and Assurance We are hiring a Senior Operations Readiness and Assurance (OR&A) to be based in Abu Dhabi with strong Oil & Gas projects experience from design through commissioning and start-up. The role supports safe, reliable, and efficient transition of projects into operations by implementing OR&A processes, risk management, and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and implement Operations Readiness & Assurance (OR&A) activities across project phases. - Review engineering deliverables to ensure operability, maintainability, and safety compliance. - Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations teams. - Develop and review operating procedures, maintenance strategies, and training plans. - Conduct risk assessments (HAZOP, HAZID, SIMOPS, etc.) and readiness reviews. - Support commissioning, start-up, and handover to Operations. - Ensure compliance with industry standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements. Qualification Required. - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is Mandatory. - Minimum 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry in the similar role. - Strong experience in OR&A, commissioning, start-up, and operational risk management. - Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, ISO, IEC, etc.). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. #LI-JM1
