Group Financial Accountant

Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a leading and highly respected manufacturing group to recruit a Group Financial Accountant into their established Group Finance team. This is a genuinely strong opportunity for a technically focused finance professional who enjoys the detail of statutory reporting and tax within a complex, multi-entity environment. This role offers broad exposure across the group, real visibility with senior stakeholders, and the chance to play a key part in delivering high-quality group reporting. The Role Reporting into senior group finance leadership, you will take ownership of statutory reporting and tax compliance across a multi-entity structure, ensuring accuracy, control, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include: Ownership of group statutory reporting across multiple entities Preparation and review of consolidated financial statements Management of corporation tax and VAT compliance across the group Liaising with external auditors and supporting the year-end process Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP / IFRS and relevant regulatory requirements Partnering with senior stakeholders across the business Supporting improvements to reporting processes, controls, and systems Involvement in ad-hoc group finance projects What’s in it for you?
