About the role:
We are working in partnership with a large, well‑established academy in Lincoln that is proud of its inclusive ethos, strong community links, and commitment to delivering a broad, engaging curriculum.
The academy is now seeking a passionate Food Technology Teacher to join their team on a part‑time basis from September 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high‑quality, engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Bring strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for practical learning
- Maintain a safe, well‑organised teaching environment
- Build positive relationships with students and contribute to a collaborative department
- Demonstrate a commitment to raising achievement and supporting all learners
Pre-requisites:
- Recent experience teaching DT/Food Technology using the UK Curriculum KS3 and or KS4
- Be able to supply at least 2 education/school based references
- Candidate must hold a teaching qualification: qualified teacher status (QTS) or qualified teacher learning and skills (QTLS) or newly qualified teacher status (ECT)
- Strong behavior Management
- Strong subject specialist
