They are well-known for their expertise in navigating the regulations surrounding alcohol, cannabis, and tobacco industries. This role offers a great opportunity for career growth in a niche area with a supportive and stimulating work environment.</p> <p>§ <strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>The new Associate will play a key role in handling complex regulatory projects and representing clients in administrative and commercial disputes.</p> <p>Main duties include: ⨖ Managing licensing and compliance issues at federal and state levels. ⨖ Representing clients in administrative actions and enforcement proceedings. ⨖ Overseeing compliance audits and advisory projects. ⨖ Drafting commercial agreements and ensuring compliance with legal statutes. ⨖ Providing counsel on regulatory changes in cannabis, hemp, and tobacco industries. ⨖ Handling commercial litigation, including motion practice and client communications.</p> <p>§ <strong>Requirements</strong></p> <p>Candidates should have strong academic credentials and advocacy skills. ⨖ Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited school. ⨖ Active California Bar Membership. ⨖ Three (3) to Five (5) years of litigation experience. ⨖ Proficiency in legal research and writing. ⨖ Interest in alcohol, cannabis, or tobacco laws.</p> <p>§ <strong>Skills</strong></p> <p>Desirable attributes include: ⨖ Experience with TTB or California ABC. ⨖ Knowledge of administrative law. ⨖ Strong interpersonal and networking skills. ⨖ Background in related industries.</p> <p>!Important¡ *This is a job posting for our client and does not include the full job description.
