Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Senior Embedded Connectivity Engineer to join a highly experienced engineering team focused on advanced development and connected device solutions. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working close to hardware, building embedded software for new concepts, and helping shape connectivity solutions from early-stage development through release.
The role combines hands-on embedded software development with cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced technical environment. The successful candidate will work on innovative products and contribute to the development of robust, high-quality connectivity platforms.

Responsibilities:
- Develop embedded software in C++ for connectivity-focused systems and devices
- Support proof-of-concept activities, including evaluation of new chipsets and early hardware development
- Contribute to requirements definition, software design, implementation, testing, and release activities
- Work closely with electronics engineers on hardware bring-up and validation
- Create automated unit tests and integration tests within the selected frameworks
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and risk-based development activities
- Ensure the software meets required quality and documentation standards
- Estimate work effectively, contribute to planning, and manage progress in a structured way
- Collaborate with global engineering teams and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders
- Help transfer solutions from advanced development into more production-oriented environments where needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong experience in embedded software development
- Solid hands-on experience with modern C++
- Experience with embedded connectivity technologies such as BLE, Wi-Fi, or cellular
- Strong understanding of low-level embedded development, including SPI, I2C, UART, memory layout, and interrupt handling
- Experience with microcontrollers, vendor SDKs, and hardware abstraction layers
- Comfortable with hardware debugging and working close to electronics
- Familiarity with build and test tools such as CMake
- Experience working in Agile teams
- Strong communication skills and a practical, solution-focused mindset
