This role is ideal for early-career engineers who are passionate about full-stack technologies, cloud-native development, and best practices. Software Engineer I team members work closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and support applications that serve multiple brands across the private aviation industry. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES <ul> <li>Contribute to the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of high-performance and high-availability services and applications used across the business.</li> <li>Analyze technical requirements and assist in designing new components and applications under guidance from senior engineers.</li> <li>Support new and existing products and applications throughout their lifecycle.</li> <li>Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other engineers to deliver team-based solutions.</li> <li>Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices.</li> <li>Develop and execute unit tests and assist with integration and automated testing efforts.</li> <li>Participate in peer code reviews to learn, share knowledge, and ensure code quality.</li> <li>Interact with internal departments and end users in development, technical design, and support roles.</li> <li>Learn and apply new tools, frameworks, and development techniques as technology evolves.</li> </ul> EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE <ul> <li>0–3 years of professional software development experience (including internships or co-op experience).</li> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.</li> <li>Foundational understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and computer science fundamentals.</li> <li>Exposure to front-end development concepts through coursework, personal projects, or professional experience, including Angular (or similar modern frameworks).</li> <li>Familiarity with Agile or iterative development methodologies.</li> </ul> REQUIRED SKILLS <ul> <li>Working knowledge of modern .NET technologies, C#, and Visual Studio.</li> <li>Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, relational databases, and SQL.</li> <li>Entry-level experience with front-end development using Angular (or similar modern frameworks) including components, services, and basic state management.</li> <li>Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.</li> <li>Familiarity with consuming backend APIs from front-end applications.</li> <li>Exposure to cloud services and modern application architectures is a plus.</li> <li>Ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a team-based, fast-paced, and evolving technical environment.</li> <li>Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership for assigned tasks.</li> <li>Passion for building high-quality systems using software development best practices.</li> <li>Exceptional attention to detail.</li> <li>Well-developed interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Team-oriented mindset with a focus on shared success rather than individual heroics.</li> </ul> #LI-BS1 Flexjet is an equal-opportunity employer.
