About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to support young learners in a nurturing and stimulating environment. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and committed to helping children thrive during their crucial developmental stages.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Encourage children’s social, emotional, and educational development through play-based learning
Observe and record children’s progress, providing feedback where necessary
Support children with additional needs where required
Maintain positive relationships with staff, children, and parents
Requirements:
A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS or equivalent is essential)
Previous experience working within an Early Years setting (nursery or reception class preferred)
A sound understanding of the EYFS framework
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A caring, patient, and proactive approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
