Complex Needs TA - Primary - Cleckheaton - September 26

About the role:

Justteachers are seeking a compassionate Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to work within a primary school in Cleckheaton. The successful candidate will support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning and achieve their individual targets. This role is to start in September 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support for pupils with complex needs.
• Assist with learning activities and classroom engagement.
• Support communication, social, and emotional development.
• Work closely with teachers and external professionals.
• Implement individual education and care plans.
• Promote independence and confidence among pupils.

Pre-requisites:

• Experience supporting children with SEND or complex needs.
• Understanding of strategies to support additional learning needs.
• Patient, adaptable, and resilient nature.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to inclusive education.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
