Construction Officer – Compliance

<p>Construction Officer &#8211; Compliance needed in Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent</p> <p>This is a temporary contract initially paying £138.53 per day PAYE</p> <p>The reference number is:                   OR102389</p> <p>The successful candidate will be organising and overseeing all statutory testing surveys for owned buildings to ensure full regulatory compliance, such as asbestos re-inspections, man safe system evaluations, safety glazing assessments, and servicing of roller shutter and automatic doors, to add just a few.</p> <p>They will manage the statutory testing for all local authority buildings to ensure all necessary surveys are undertaken at the required intervals, manage any work that comes from the statutory survey reports and undertake asbestos management in buildings and ensure that the Authority does not breach regulations or expose officers or the public to risk for asbestos.</p> <p><strong>If</strong><strong> you are interested in the role please apply on our website with your CV, alternatively you can email your CV to </strong><strong>Kirsty@essentialemploy.co.uk</strong><strong> quoting the reference number.</strong></p> <p><strong>Essential Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
