Data Team Manager (FTC until June 2027)

Element Recruitment are partnering with a purpose-driven organisation based in central Bristol that is looking to hire a Data Team Manager to support the delivery of high-quality, compliant data services on a FTC until June 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong data experience and team leadership skills to step into a role where they can coach junior team members while ensuring accurate and timely regulatory submissions.

The Role

You’ll lead and support a team of junior data specialists, ensuring delivery is accurate, consistent, and meets key deadlines. This role combines people management with hands-on operational oversight in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, coaching, and developing a junior data team
• Overseeing day-to-day workflows and ensuring timely delivery
• Monitoring data quality, accuracy, and compliance
• Acting as a key escalation point for complex data queries
• Supporting regulatory submissions and ensuring best practice
• Collaborating with internal teams to improve processes and delivery

About You

• Experience managing or mentoring data-focused teams (Mandatory)
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience in a regulated or compliance-driven environment
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to improve processes and drive team performance
