A supportive primary school in the Settle area is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs. This will be a on a part time basis, needed ASAP.
About the role: The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and the SENDCo to ensure pupils are fully supported in accessing the curriculum and achieving their individual targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom and one-to-one SEND support.
- Assist with EHCP targets and personalised learning plans.
- Support pupils’ communication and social development.
- Deliver small-group interventions.
Pre-requisites:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Experience supporting pupils with autism or ADHD.
