We have numerous programs throughout the five burroughs but are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to work at our location in Midtown Manhattan. As the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you would join a team of prescribers and clinicians treating patients with various types of mental health ailments. We primarily serve adults ages 30- 60 years of age. This position will be 3 days a week. Please see job highlights below for more details.</p> <p>Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner<br /> Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY<br /> Salary: $100/hour</p> <p>Responsibilities:<br /> Responsible for performing psychiatric evaluations and medication management<br /> Working with patients that are diagnosed with Schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and various others<br /> Documenting notes in EMR system FootHold<br /> Working closely with Psychiatrists and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners on staff<br /> Interacting with social workers and clinicians when necessary<br /> Participating in meetings via zoom when applicable </p> <p>Requirements:<br /> Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner<br /> Graduate of accredited Masters Degree of Nursing Program (PMHNP)<br /> Preferred 1 year PMHNP experience<br /> DEA license<br /> New York State PMHNP license<br /> Attention to detail<br /> Strong communication skills</p> <p>For further consideration, send resume or email to Alexg@smitharnold.com VP PMHNP recruitment or call 914-774-8202</p>
