£50000 - £58000 p/a + Benefits, BUPA, Bonus

37.5 hours with 4 day work week option

Due to an increased workload we are seeking a proven Windchill PLM Administrator.

The Windchill PLM Developer is a mid-level software engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining client side and server side customisations, integrations, and data migration solutions for PTC Windchill.

You will be working within cross functional teams ensuring the PLM system delivers seamless, secure, and compliant support to the UK Defence mission, enabling product data management, engineering change control, and collaboration across global disciplines.

What will I be doing?

  • Design, develop, and implement PTC Windchill PLM solutions.
  • Customize and configure Windchill PLM software to meet business requirements.
  • Integrate Windchill PLM with other enterprise systems and applications.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windchill PLM solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for Windchill PLM solutions.
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Perform upgrades and maintenance of Windchill PLM systems.

Skills required:

  • Proven experience in developing and managing PTC Windchill PLM solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Windchill architecture and PLM processes.
  • Experience in software development using Java, XML, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with database management and SQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
