Corporate Tax Manager in a top 10 Accountancy Practice based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent! We are working closely with our client to further expand their increasingly growing corporation tax team who are looking for an assistant manager to provide both compliance and advisory services to their in depth portfolio of clients.
The firm is an exponentially growing practice and is the UK's leading group in their expertise fostering an inclusive environment with a priority to develop their people. The office is a direct train from the centre of London making this an easily commutable location for those near the city. The office also offers free parking facilities for those who wish to drive, again easily commutable along the A26.

Responsibilities and Duties
As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing your compliance portfolio, assisting both directors and partners in managing their work, as well as working closely with juniors to ensure award winning standards are upkept. The role additionally involves the opportunity to seek out advisory projects. There are a wide variety of clients and the role provides career development and progression. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Undertake and review Company Tax Returns for your portfolio of clients
Tackle advisory pieces within your client portfolio
Assist with due-diligence and transactional work when required
Gain a broader understanding of other areas of taxation including R&D tax credits, international tax matters, employment tax, and VAT matters
Provide one-to-one training top junior staff members to further solidify the team
Ensure robust procedures within the firm utilising HMRC guidance and tax legislation
Attending internal and external seminars and courses
Encourage collaborative working across other areas of the firm showing acute awareness of other teams and their roles
Liaising directly with partners in order to assist with their portfolio management.
Requirements
Candidates will need to be fully ACA/ACCA/CA or CTA qualified with significant corporate tax experience within practice or industry.
Additional requirements include:
Experience in managing both people and clients
Technically sound with the ability to assist in complex tax work
Demonstrate a keenness to understand the business and assist in its growth
Exhibit a strong level of commercial awareness to contribute to business development
Add value to client and team profitability
