Registered Manager – New Children’s EBD Home Location: North London Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum (DOE) Type: Full-Time, Permanent OVERVIEW We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a brand-new 3-bed EBD children’s home in North London. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a service from the very beginning, guiding it through Ofsted registration and building a high-quality, child-focused home where young people can thrive. This role offers the rare chance to shape the culture, ethos, and direction of a new home within a growing organisation dedicated to creating nurturing, stable environments for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). WHAT’S ON OFFER Competitive salary of up to £70,000 per annum (depending on experience) Opportunity to lead a new home from registration through to operation Supportive, family-run organisation with genuine passion for children’s care Strong future progression opportunities as the group expands Full support from the Responsible Individual and senior leadership team THE ROLE As Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for leading the SC1 registration process and establishing the home’s operations. You’ll be instrumental in recruiting and mentoring a new team, setting standards of care, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where young people can feel secure, understood, and empowered. Your focus will be on compliance, quality assurance, and building a service that delivers positive outcomes, all while maintaining a culture based on respect, empathy, and consistency. KEY REQUIREMENTS Experienced Registered Manager or strong Deputy Manager ready to step up Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards) Proven understanding of Ofsted regulations and inspection frameworks Strong leadership and team-building skills Ability to deliver high-quality care and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children WHY APPLY?
