About the Role

<p>We have been engaged by a mid market company for a number of Investment Banking roles. </p> <p>The company is based on the east coast around the greater DC area and has been around for over a decade. Historically they have done particularly well in several Services based industries including Industrial Services, Government Service and Healthcare Services. The company is focused on the middle/lower middle markets, typical deal size is $100mn-$300mn in Enterprise Value. Their core offering includes Buy-Side/Sell-Side M&amp;A and Corporate Advisory. </p> <p>What are people saying about this company?<br /> • Great hands-on experience working with lean deal teams<br /> • Smaller teams with direct exposure to work with seniors MDs<br /> • Opportunity to be a part of a building Investment Banking platform </p> <p>Title: Investment Banking – Vice President<br /> Salary: $150,000 – $175,000 +Bonus<br /> Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid) </p> <p>Responsibilities:<br /> • Support transaction execution<br /> • Assist in sourcing deals and possibly bring on own deals earlier than a typical bulge bracket<br /> • Support MD’s Origination activities, pitches, decks and build long term industry relationships<br /> • Work hand in hand with the Senior MDs while getting exposure to different Industry verticals<br /> • Advice on Buy/Sell side M&amp;A activities in the middle markets<br /> • Engage, lead and assist in the due diligence process of deals<br /> • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Bankers (Associates &amp; Analysts)<br /> • Analyze market data and understand current market trends based on real time date<br /> • M&amp;A experience is a must with a track record of executing deals in the middle markets</p> <p>Requirements:<br /> • BA/BS with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field<br /> • Anywhere between 5 yrs – 8 yrs of relevant experience, only Banking or combination of Investment Banking and Corporate Advisory<br /> • Strong M&amp;A Exp is a must from buy-side &amp; sell side<br /> • Ideally coming from a middle market Investment Bank, will consider Bulge Bracket experience with an emphasis on M&amp;A rather than Capital Markets transactions<br /> • Licenses preferred are Series 7, 79 &amp; 63<br /> • Open to travel as needed by clients<br /> • Must have a track record of leading small teams (4-6 junior Bankers)<br /> • Minimum 4 yrs of direct Investment Banking experience is ideal</p>
