<p><strong>Homelessness Prevention and Relief Officer needed in Newbury Paying  £28.99 per hr ref 5298102</strong></p> <p><strong>Full time hours on a temporary basis</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p><em>Key Responsibilities</em></p> <ul> <li>Managing homelessness prevention and relief cases from application through to resolution</li> <li>Conducting assessments under relevant housing legislation</li> <li>Developing Personalised Housing Plans (PHPs)</li> <li>Providing housing advice and homelessness prevention support</li> <li>Working with landlords, support agencies, and external partners to secure accommodation solutions</li> <li>Assessing vulnerability, safeguarding, and support needs</li> <li>Making decisions in line with homelessness legislation and council policies</li> <li>Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with statutory duties</li> <li>Supporting customers to access temporary or long-term accommodation </li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>If you are interested in the role, please email your CV to verity@essentialemploy.co.uk quoting the reference number. </p> <p>Essential Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
