EHS SPECIALIST

Job Summary:
The EHS Specialist ensures a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment by supporting EHS processes, risk management, and continuous improvement within the business unit.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main contact for EHS topics within the facility 
- Manage incident reporting, investigations, and follow-ups 
- Support audits (e.g., ISO 14001/45001) and ensure compliance 
- Conduct risk assessments (facility, ergonomic, chemical, biosafety) 
- Coach EHS representatives on the shop floor 
- Monitor EHS performance and drive improvements 

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field 
- 2–4 years of EHS experience in biotech/pharma environment 
- Strong communication skills (English required, Dutch preferred)
