<p><u><strong>SOC Manager</strong></u><strong> </strong></p>
<p>Our client requires a Contract SOC Manager to take the lead on their day-to-day Cyber Security Operations. This is a hands-on role where you’ll bring structure, clarity, and momentum to an evolving SOC environment.</p>
<ul>

<li><span data-mce-mark="1">IR35 Status: Outside</span></li>
<li><span data-mce-mark="1">Travel: 2 days a week in Liverpool Office</span></li>
<li><span data-mce-mark="1">Duration: 6 months initially </span></li>
</ul>
<p>Responsibilities: </p>
<ul>
<li>Overseeing the day-to-day running of the SOC, supporting and growing a small team of analysts while ensuring smooth delivery across in-hours and out-of-hours operations.</li>
<li>Taking ownership of our security tooling (including Darktrace, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Defender), improving how these platforms work together to strengthen detection and response.</li>
<li>Leading the development of a Cyber Threat Intelligence capability, including the introduction of new tools</li>
<li>Making sure threat intelligence is not just collected, but meaningfully embedded into SOC workflows to drive proactive defence.</li>
<li>Managing and improving the relationship with the current external SOC provider, while playing a key role in an upcoming RFP process to select a new partner.</li>
