The Role Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will take ownership of indirect tax across the business while contributing to wider finance and operational initiatives.
This is a visible role with regular exposure to senior stakeholders, offering the chance to make a tangible impact as the organisation continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities- Ownership and review of UK VAT compliance, including quarterly returns
- Act as the go-to contact for VAT and indirect tax queries across the business
- Support and enhance processes following Making Tax Digital implementation
- Monitor legislative changes and ensure ongoing compliance
- Manage indirect tax balance sheet reconciliations
- Review and strengthen VAT controls and governance frameworks
- Support M&A activity and wider tax-led projects
- Liaise with external auditors and advisors

- Strong experience in indirect tax and VAT within a complex or multi-entity environment
- Commercial awareness with the ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders
- Confidence working in a growing or changing business
- A proactive approach, with a focus on improving processes and adding value
