About the Role

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Mergers & Acquisitions team to support strategic growth initiatives across the Middle East. In this role, you will lead and coordinate complex M&A projects from initial assessment through integration, ensuring effective delivery of cross-functional activities across technical, commercial, operational, and legal workstreams. The ideal candidate brings strong project management capabilities within the M&A space and thrives in fast-paced, multicultural environments. Experience in environmental consulting or adjacent industries—such as mining, renewables, oil & gas, technology, or industrial sectors—is highly advantageous. Key Responsibilities M&A Project Management Lead end-to-end management of M&A transactions, including due diligence, risk assessment, valuation support, and integration planning. Coordinate stakeholders across finance, legal, operations, HR, and technical teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, communication frameworks, and progress reports. Drive integration activities post-acquisition, ensuring effective change management, process alignment, and value realization. Facilitate decision-making by preparing clear summaries, dashboards, and recommendations for senior leadership. Support market assessments, target screening, and competitive analysis, particularly within the environmental and sustainability-related sectors. Evaluate operational, environmental, and regulatory risks and opportunities associated with potential targets. Ensure all project activities adhere to corporate governance, compliance standards, and regional regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Experience Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering (e.g. civil, mechanical, chemical, etc.), Environmental Sciences, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Several years of experience in M&A (Due Diligence) project management, with a focus on at least one of the following; EHS Due Diligence, ESG Due Diligence, Technical Due Diligence, Commercial Due Diligence, Social & Culture Due Diligence within corporate, consulting, or private markets (General Partner (GP), Limited Partner (LP), Infra-Fund, or adjacent) environments. Proven track record managing complex and integrated Due Diligence processes in the context of multi-phase M&A transactions. Fluency in both English and Arabic (verbal and written), one additional European language is a plus. Strong communication skills, both client and internally facing, and experience in managing multiple stakeholders. Experience in environmental consulting or adjacent industry sectors (e.g. mining, renewables, infrastructure, oil & gas, chemical, technology) is a strong plus. Strong understanding of and practical experience in due diligence processes, valuation, financial concepts & modeling, value creation & transformation, and integration methodologies. Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills in a multinational, multijurisdictional environment. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and associated project teams in an international, fast-paced environment.
