Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated Packing Operatives, Abattoir Operatives, Tray Wash Operators, and Boning Hall Operatives to join our team. These roles are essential within our food production facility, ensuring the safe and efficient processing of products in compliance with industry standards. Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining high levels of food safety and hygiene throughout their shift, contributing to the overall quality of our products. All positions are paid, and we welcome applications from individuals eager to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Packing and sealing meat products in accordance with specified standards and procedures
Operating tray washing equipment to ensure cleanliness and hygiene of all trays used in production
Assisting in abattoir operations by handling carcasses safely and efficiently, adhering to HACCP protocols
Supporting boning activities by carefully processing meat cuts with attention to quality and safety standards
Maintaining cleanliness of work areas, including equipment and tools, following strict food safety guidelines
Monitoring product quality throughout the production process, reporting any irregularities or hazards promptly
Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and company policies at all times
Experience

Previous experience in food production or meat processing is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations is desirable
Mechanical knowledge or experience with cleaning machinery is a plus
Basic maths skills for measuring and recording data accurately
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure high standards of hygiene and product quality

Pay rate depends from department :

Packing Operatives : Piece Rate from £12,71.

Abattoir Operatives : Piece Rate from 12.71

Tray Wash : £13.20 per hour.

Monday to Friday , dayshift.
