<p><b>Your Purpose</b></p>

<p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p>
<p>Personal Care:</p>
<ul>
<li>Support with bathing, dressing and grooming.</li>
<li>Assist with medication reminders and/or administration (in line with training and policy).</li>
<li>Promote dignity, privacy and individual choice at all times.</li>
</ul>
<p>Practical Support:</p>
<ul>
<li>Light housekeeping and domestic tasks.</li>
<li>Meal preparation and nutritional support.</li>
<li>Helping maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home.</li>
</ul>
<p>Social and Emotional Support:</p>
<ul>
<li>Providing companionship and meaningful conversation.</li>
<li>Supporting social activities, outings and appointments.</li>
<li>Encouraging independence and community involvement.</li>
</ul>
<p>Record Keeping and Communication:</p>
<ul>
<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records.</li>
<li>Report any changes or concerns promptly.</li>
<li>Work closely with the wider care team.</li>
</ul>
<p>Compliance:</p>
<ul>
<li>Follow company policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Work in line with safeguarding and adult protection guidance.</li>
<li>Adhere to Scottish Social Services Council Codes of Practice.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>About You</b></p>
<p>Essential:</p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 2 years’ experience in a care role.</li>
<li>SVQ in Health and Social Care (or working towards).</li>
<li>Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council.</li>
<li>PVG membership (or willingness to obtain) via Disclosure Scotland.</li>
<li>Full UK driving licence.</li>
<li>Access to your own vehicle.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and use initiative.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>A compassionate, patient and empathetic nature.</li>
</ul>
<p>Desirable:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience providing care in the community.</li>
<li>Medication administration training.</li>
<li>Knowledge of person-centred care planning.</li>
</ul>
