MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Columbus NE 68601 β 100% on-site
- Payrate: $22.70/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday β Friday, 12:00 AM β 8:00 AM (3rd Shift)
- Overtime: Candidates must be flexible and open to working weekend overtime as required to meet business needs.
MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Machine Operator will be responsible for the safe operation of equipment and the production of high-quality products. You will work within a team to ensure continuous operation, perform routine quality inspections, and assist with equipment troubleshooting.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate production lines, perform changeovers, line clearance, and cleaning/sanitizing of equipment.
- Quality Control: Perform visual inspections and quality checks using 10x microscopes, calipers, or other gauges to ensure products meet strict specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and perform basic troubleshooting of equipment to reduce downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Documentation & Data: Maintain accurate records and logs; perform data entry using SAP and MES systems in accordance with GMP and FDA standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team to achieve production rates and support continuous operation through breaks.
MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with precision measuring instruments or MES/SAP software is a plus.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend technical specifications in English.
- Proficiency in basic math calculations.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
