Job Description
Production Manager, Newbury:
- Oversee and manage the production process for composite parts, ensuring efficiency and quality at every stage.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer and business demands.
- Work with NPI team to take new products into full production
- Monitor and analyse production performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards throughout the production process.
- Manage and lead the production team, providing guidance and support to achieve operational goals.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimise processes and resolve any production challenges.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for senior management.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Production Manager - Composite Parts should have:
- Experience in managing production processes within the industrial or manufacturing sector, particularly with composite materials.
- Experience of Composite parts is essential
- Strong knowledge of production planning and quality control processes.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Good communication and organisational skills to effectively coordinate with teams and stakeholders.
- Live locally and drive - public transport is not an option
