Job Description

Production Manager, Newbury:

  • Oversee and manage the production process for composite parts, ensuring efficiency and quality at every stage.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer and business demands.
  • Work with NPI team to take new products into full production
  • Monitor and analyse production performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards throughout the production process.
  • Manage and lead the production team, providing guidance and support to achieve operational goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimise processes and resolve any production challenges.
  • Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Production Manager - Composite Parts should have:

  • Experience in managing production processes within the industrial or manufacturing sector, particularly with composite materials.
  • Experience of Composite parts is essential
  • Strong knowledge of production planning and quality control processes.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Good communication and organisational skills to effectively coordinate with teams and stakeholders.
  • Live locally and drive - public transport is not an option
What's on Offer
  • Competitive salary ranging from £65,000 to £75,000, dependent on the level of experience.
