About the Role In this role, you will manage a portfolio of clients across audit and accounts assignments, ensuring the highest quality of service and accuracy in all deliverables. A key aspect of this role is reviewing the work of junior team members to ensure compliance, accuracy, and consistency. Your main responsibilities will include: Leading and managing audit engagements from planning to completion Preparing statutory and annual accounts for a diverse client base Conducting thorough risk assessments and testing key controls Reviewing, checking and signing off the work of junior staff, providing guidance and constructive feedback Preparing management letters and reporting audit findings to clients Coaching, mentoring, and supporting junior and mid-level team members to improve technical skills and efficiency Maintaining and developing strong client relationships, providing proactive advice Supporting Partners with client portfolios and business development opportunities Ensuring compliance with professional standards, accounting regulations, and internal processes Contributing to process improvements to drive efficiency and quality Requirements Who We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will have: ACA or ACCA qualification, with desire to achieve RI status in the future Substantial experience in audit and accounts within a practice environment Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and audit standards Experience managing and mentoring junior team members Excellent client-facing skills with a professional and proactive approach Confidence in handling multiple client engagements and deadlines Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar Benefits This role offers a competitive salary, hybrid working flexibility, and a professional yet friendly team environment.
