About the role: Start Date: New Academic Year Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire Contract: Long-term / Full-time Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Justteachers are working with a secondary school in the Hinckley area who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team from the beginning of the new academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident teacher with strong subject knowledge who is passionate about helping students develop their mathematical understanding and achieve their academic potential. The successful candidate will join a collaborative department and be expected to deliver consistently high-quality lessons. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Support students in developing their mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Prepare and deliver lessons in line with the school’s curriculum. Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of students with varying abilities. Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback. Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement and participation. Use a range of teaching strategies to engage and motivate learners. Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department. Support students in preparing for GCSE examinations where appropriate. Contribute to wider school activities and enrichment opportunities. Pre-requisites: QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Relevant degree or strong academic background in Mathematics. Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school environment. Strong knowledge of the secondary Maths curriculum. Excellent classroom management and organisational skills. Ability to inspire confidence in students who may lack confidence in Maths. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
