<h2>Primary Responsibilities</h2>

<p>Administer nuclear medicine and hybrid imaging procedures, such as <strong>PET/CT</strong> and <strong>SPECT/CT</strong></p>
</li>

<p>Prepare, calculate, administer, and document radioactive isotopes based on established protocols</p>
</li>

<p>Verify patient identity and review physician orders before procedures</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Educate patients on exam preparation and procedural expectations</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging process</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Maintain equipment standards and perform required quality control procedures</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Adhere to radiation safety guidelines, department protocols, and ongoing education requirements</p>

<h2>Requirements</h2>
<h3>Minimum Qualifications</h3>
<ul>

<p><strong>CNMT</strong> or <strong>ARRT(N)</strong> certification</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Active New York State Department of Health Nuclear Medicine License</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Current BLS certification</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Effective communication skills and patient-centered focus</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h3>Preferred Skills</h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p><strong>NMTCB(CT)</strong> or <strong>ARRT(CT)</strong> certification</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Prior experience in PET and/or CT</p>
</li>

<p><strong>PET experience not required. Training provided.</strong></p>
