IT Asset Manager (Hardware-Focused) – Doncaster (2–3 days onsite) – £45,000 + 10% Bonus

We’re looking for a hands-on IT Asset Manager with strong hardware expertise to join a growing organisation based in Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on ownership, analysis, and making commercially sound decisions around IT equipment lifecycle management. The Role As IT Asset Manager, you’ll take responsibility for overseeing hardware assets across the business — ensuring effective tracking, assessment, and cost management throughout their lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of IT hardware assets from deployment through to disposal Assess returned or damaged equipment and determine cost of repair vs replacement Analyse asset data to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities Maintain accurate asset records and ensure compliance with internal policies Work closely with IT support, procurement, and finance teams Utilise Jira to track asset-related workflows, incidents, and reporting Support audits and ensure governance standards are met About You Proven experience in IT Asset Management with a strong hardware focus Experience assessing equipment condition and making cost-based decisions on repair vs replacement Strong working knowledge of Jira Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail Confident stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of processes What’s on Offer £45,000 base salary 10% annual bonus Hybrid working (2–3 days onsite in Doncaster) Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we may not be able to respond to all applications.
